You will require a Canadian study permit to study in Canada if your course lasts for six months or more. To apply you must meet the following requirements:

    • A written offer of acceptance from a recognised educational institution in Canada. If you wish to study in Quebec you must also furnish a Certificate of Acceptance, known as a CAQ, from the government of Quebec.
    • Two recent passport-size photographs, with specifications of name and date of birth on the back
    • Evidence of scholarship or payment of course fees in the form of GIC /Savings or Education Loan.
    • A duly completed and signed application form. You will have to pay a non-refundable visa application fee.
    • Your passport or certificate of identity [valid through the period of intended stay].
    • Evidence of funds for your maintenance throughout your stay.
    • You must be in good health and willing to complete a medical examination, if necessary
